Program 2020 – Canceled !!!
Despite everything for and against we must say at the end simply: In view of the uncertainties in planning, the already rising numbers of cases, as well as the presumably forthcoming intensification of the Corona measures unfortunately also nothing else remains for us, than to let the Berlin board game Con in December not take place.

Presented by HUNTER & CRON hall 6
HUNTER & CRON have been active on YouTube since 2013 – uploading videos daily in order to help you steer the vast seas of new board games being released and also to show you how many beautiful, adventurous, storytelling, funny and enchanting games exist. Why not stop by at our channel?bernder Spiele voller
Geschichten gibt! Schau doch einfach mal vorbei!
Then, in 2015 we had the idea to meet up with our steadily growing community – and tadah: The first Berlin Brettspiel Con was born! And so this rather small meet-up in a school in the quarter of Friedrichshain grew into a big convention with tournaments, panels, flea market and exclusive board game releases on almost 8,000 m²!
All of this would not have been possible without the fantastic community, its support and most of all its curiosity about board games.
And so we say a heartfelt: Thank you!

RatCon Berlin
RatCon is an institution in the German role-playing scene. Together with the Berlin Brettspiel Con, RatCon 2019 was the first time that it had been held in Berlin. Invited are die-hard RPG friends as well as interested people and newcomers to spin stories for a whole weekend, to immerse themselves in foreign worlds and to spark enthusiasm for the hobby!

Auction
RatCon brought its traditional auction to Berlin Con for the first time in 2019. We hope to be able to implement such a great event again in 2020.
There you can look forward to one or the other treasure.
Berlin Con Awards
There are many board game prizes, but who will reward the people behind the boxes to whom we owe all the great games?
The Berlin Con Awards are a way of honouring the work of those who make our hobby possible: the authors, the publishers and their editors. We pay particular attention to the next generation, because it’s no longer just the established players who dominate the scene. Our hobby is growing dynamically and every year many new authors and publishers succeed in publishing fantastic games and advancing decisive innovations.
For this reason, the Berlin Con Awards will be presented in four categories in 2020:
- Designer of the Year
- Publisher of the Year
- Best New Designer
- Best New Publisher
The Berlin Con Awards are chosen by a changing international jury of experts consisting of board game bloggers. For each category, the jury nominates 4 persons or teams to be honored for one or more board games. The jury will accept games published in 2019 or 2020 according to the website “boardgamegeek.com”. The winners will then be determined by secret ballot and announced on the opening evening of Berlin Con.
In the year 2020, the jury will consist of two members:
- Peter Dringautzki (Peat & Alex) – Chairman

KLASK Qualifying Tournament
Invented in 2014 by Danish carpenter Mikkel Bertelsen, KLASK has long since become a phenomenon. In the new type of table football, magnets are used to move the figure below the tabletop to transport the ball into the opponent’s goal. A lot of fun, which already has its own league and is in the process of developing into a real sport!
Qualify for the German Championship on Sunday.
